1st Race 22.4.07 Jurva: First trophies!

Mallas-Racing started the season with it's best result so far. We completed a "Shake Down" test in Botniaring race track at saturday evening, the day before the race. All drivers got a chance to familiarize themselves with the car and the track after the long winter period. 

Everything worked fine and Mikko drove to fifth place in the grid in qualifying session. Asko drove good first stint, but it was Mikko who exploded the pot at the second stint. Other team members almost choke to their coffees and sausages when it was announced that Mallas-Racing was at the first place in overall situation! Online results were not working at that time, so pit crew were a bit blind on that situation... ONly problem during the race was one front tyre that had to be changed because the rubber peeled off after locking the brakes few times. Mallas succeeded to use the Safety Cars for changeng the drivers and filling up the gas, unfortunately at the last stint we were forced to make one extra pitstop because the gas was so low. Afterall we finished 7th overall and 5th in our own class! That ment that it was the first time Mallas got trophies with our own car! This is a good start for the season!
